Fort Leavenworth Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year recognition is the highest honor a club member can achieve, with great scholarship opportunities. The Youth of the Year program celebrates youth who have demonstrated exceptional character and accomplishments in the program. These deserving young people are recognized for service to their Club and community, academic performance and contributions to their family. Youth of the Year honorees are shining examples and living proof that great futures start at BGCA.
The Youth of the Year Program develops members who are knowledgeable spokesperson for their club and community. The qualities of character, services and leadership that make a Youth of the Year are promoted in the Club every day. Whether a Club member actually becomes Youth of the Year the time and effort invested by staff helps these young people become all they are capable of being.
