Commercial and pop-up canopies are available in various sizes. Patrons must get a dig permit prior to the installation of a commercial canopy, by calling +1(913) 684-3395. Permits are required at least 1 week in advance.

During World Wars I and II, the United States Government asked citizens to plant gardens in order to support the war effort. Emphasis was placed on making gardening a family and community effort — not a drudgery, but a pastime and a national duty. Plots are approximately 23x48’ and cost $35 for the season.
